Wild Ponies

Chincoteague Ponies are living legends straight out of a storybook—literally! These small horses have adapted to their environment over the years by eating dune and marsh grasses and drinking fresh water from ponds, so those of them that grow up in the wild have the stature of ponies rather than horses.
