We found this postcard from Mrs. Jane Moore Thardy, of Thardy Travel Bureau, Alabama. She must have sent it when she was visiting her sister Martha on Chincoteague in 1949. Many years later, Martha and her husband Don Leonard founded the Refuge Motor Inn.
