Easter is always an exciting time on Chincoteague. All the restaurants & shops open, new foals are born, flowers bloom, and the first waves of visitors come to the island. The Chincoteague Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Easter Decoy & Art Festival at the Chincoteague Combined School on Friday, March 29th and Saturday, March 30th. The Chincoteague Island Family YMCA is hosting its annual Bay-to-Bay 5k walk & 10k run on Saturday morning, March 30th. The race starts at the Robert Reed Waterfront Park, Downtown. Entrance fees: Adults $35, Children $10. All proceeds benefit the Chincoteague Family YMCA.
