Amarin Coffee: Keeping It Local

June 15, 2021 | All Posts, news

We are proud to announce a partnership with a local coffeeshop, Amarin Coffee.  Amarin owner Yen and her family run a fantastic business down the street from us, and many of our staff have enjoyed their coffee and croissants the past two years.  This year they began partnering with local businesses to supply coffee and baked goods, so we jumped at the opportunity!  Yen brings us a fresh batch of medium-roast beans every few days.  We grind them just before brewing, and have gotten rave reviews of the coffee since we switched last month! As soon as her baking capacity allows, we hope to supply our guests with her baked goods at breakfast too.  Her butter, almond, and chocolate croissants are all homemade from scratch and absolutely divine.

Yen was born in Vietnam, where her Arabica coffee beans are grown.  They are grown at very high altitudes (5,250 ft above sea level!) with special attention to sustainability, ripeness, natural drying process and economic fairness to growers.  Amarin imports them directly and roasts them locally.  She recently invited some of our staff to watch the roasting process– their operation is truly impressive.

We encourage you to enjoy the coffee available near the office starting at 7am daily, and be sure to stop by Amarin for their other tasty treats including fresh spring rolls, Vietnamese milk coffee, and bubble/jelly tea.
